About Me

I am a UK-based illustrator working in both digital and traditional media. I view this combination as a balancing force between the convenience and seemingly unlimited potential of digital tools and the creative impulse found in limitations of physical media.

Often using speculative fiction as method of social critique, I explore how architecture, geography, and technology contribute to alienation, inequality, and social control. I use the documentation of everyday life through photography and sketching as a starting point, before drawing out emerging themes through imaginative world-building and narrative development.

Inspired by the works of Moebius and Shaun Tan, philosophers like Guy Debord and Gilles Deleuze, painters such as Francisco Goya and Ilya Repin, and a variety of cinema from Andrei Tarkovsky to John Carpenter, I seek to tell stories which inspire a sense of possibility, create empathy, and challenge the status quo.
